In severe constipation, it’s best to temporarily avoid these foods: 1. Refined foods – white bread, maida products, biscuits, cakes - Low in fiber and slow bowel movement. 2. Fried & junk foods – samosa, pakoda, chips, fast food- High fat + low fiber = harder stools. 3. Excess dairy – cheese, paneer, ice cream, excess milk - Can worsen constipation in some people. 4. Red meat & processed meat - Difficult to digest and low in fiber. 5. Packaged & ready-to-eat foods - Lack fiber and may cause dehydration. 6. Too much tea/coffee - Can dehydrate the body if water intake is low. 7. Unripe banana & excess apples without peel - Can be binding in nature.

Hello, Try to avoid non veg for sometime till your gut feels healthy again. Have soaked chia seeds in the morning with some freshly chopped apple on top and a little bit of honey Drink sips of warm water throughout the day Eating too much fiber can also worsen your digestive system. So gradually increase it. To treat severe constipation with the help of proper diet and lifestyle changes you can directly consult me on practo.

Severe constipation is often aggravated by foods that are low in fibre, highly processed, dehydrating, or difficult to digest. Modifying food choices can significantly improve bowel regularity: - Refined foods such as maida-based items including white bread, biscuits, pastries, and bakery products tend to lack fibre and slow bowel movements. - Frequent intake of fried snacks, fast food, and packaged foods further worsens constipation. - Consuming large portions of white rice regularly can also reduce stool bulk and delay gut transit. - Excessive intake of chicken, mutton, or red meat, especially when meals are low in vegetables and fluids, can slow digestion and contribute to hard stools. - High consumption of milk, cheese, paneer, cream, and milk-based desserts can worsen constipation, especially in individuals with lactose sensitivity or low gut motility. - Excessive tea, coffee, and alcohol intake can lead to dehydration, which hardens stools and slows bowel movements. - Including adequate complex carbohydrates, fruits, and vegetables helps improve fibre intake and stool bulk.

First of all it's better to figure out the root cause of the problem. Excessive heat can be the reason. But better is to get it checked and go accordingly
