8months old baby...My baby is having constipation after giving cere lac that I gav from 1month, before he was normal. .I continued only breast milk from birth till now..even now am continuing along with cerelac, while breastfeed before giving cerelac he used to go for potty weekly once but was soft and no constipation, but now he struggles a lot..

Constipation is very common in small children because of the poor water intake, poor fibre intake and inappropriate dietary habits. Prefer giving home made porridge. Reduce the milk intake. Start giving vegetable soups, avoid giving apple /pomegranate /banana, give kismis, anjeer and dates. Don't give Complan /horlicks /bournvita.
