Constant heart pain and lethargic.

I am supposed to get engaged on 19th June 2017. Just two days back the groom's family has called up to my mother and rejected me on the grounds: 1. That I don't want to be house wife and would continue with my profession i.e. law. 2. I'm ultra modern and thinking about divorce and other sides effects that may arise. 3. I'm not fit for taking care of his child who is 3years elder to me. This was supposed to be a arrange marriage and since last 3months i.e the proposal came in the month of feb, I hangout with him several times. We have become close to each other. But the moment he rejected me, I am shattered. I'm unable to take this. Kindly find a solution.
