Constant headache
Doctor my wife is having thyroid. she is 25 years old. Just one week before taken test. in that she is having t3 is- 1.02, t4 is 6.5 and tsh is 21.44 then we consulted local physician and took ELTROXIN 25 mcg. From that day itself she is having severe continues headache..is it normal?

Hi.thanks for contacting practo for health query. This is Dr.Shanmugavadivu answering your question. Your wife has hypothyroidism and has to been rightly treated with Eltroxin .It may not be the reason for headache.Even to have a therapeutic effect it takes 20days so may not produce side effect. May be you need to consult a doctor again for headache.Hope this helps.
