I am experiencing stress due to various sudden turn of events in my life which have unfolded in the past year.. Not sure whether I should be visiting a Psychiatrist or a Psychologist? Kindly advise.

Hi. You can visit either of the two. Depending on a detailed evaluation , you may require only psychotherapy or medicines+psychotherapy. If your problems are mild, then only psychotherapy will be enough. A psychologist will be able to do evaluation and psychotherapy.
