Confused about treatment. Or nt!

My husband got kidney stone few days back.at one hospital its shows 13mm.dr.suggested for laser operation.we went for it also.but dr.said in d middle of treatment that due to kidney swelling he could nt reach d stone.he kept stent n left it after 3 weeks he will repeat d procedure he said.but for kidney we consulted some other dr.after 3 days n in his reports its shows no stone.so he suggested ct scan.n in ct scan report it was 6mm stone only.so d other dr.said.he can be romved through medicines.but he was nephrologist so he said m suggesting u wid medicines.but u consult urologist.so.after nw 3 weeks.we went to urologist d first dr.so that he can remove stent.he again did ultrasound.n it shows no stone.but he is saying x.ray me stone hai.ab bhi n kahin chip ke atka hua hai.he is again saying for laser operation.we r very confused what to do.should v go for operation or nt
