Confidentiality
Hi, I'm 19 and I was wondering about booking something with my GP but before I do I wanted to know what they have to keep confidential. For example when discussing mental health and how you feel they can't tell a family member of mine about it or anything can they? Even if admitting to self harm or something like that? Thank you

I can understand how you are feeling.  There are probabilities that you went through some bitter experience  and unable to handle the situation. Why not consult a Psychologist in your city. For sure Counsellor or Psychiatrist or Psychologist will maintain confidentiality as their interest will be only to help you come out of the situation and move on in life. You can trust them as and take the first step.
