Hi, I understand how uncomfortable it can be to deal with long-standing GERD, bloating, and now recurring heartburn, especially with a busy IT lifestyle in Bangalore
you can take Gaviscon along with your current medicines like Proton Pump Inhibitors, Aristozyme, Avipattikar, and Carbo Veg.
It is generally safe, as Gaviscon works by forming a protective layer over stomach contents rather than interfering significantly with these medications.
Keep a gap of 1â2 hours between Gaviscon and other medicines for better effectiveness
Avoid taking everything together at the same time
Since you are already on:
PPI
Digestive enzymes (Aristozyme)
Ayurvedic + homeopathic support
and still getting heartburn, it suggests:
The issue may not be just acidity
It could be functional imbalance (gut motility + stress + lifestyle)
In IT professionals, I commonly see:
Irregular meals
Long sitting hours
Stress-related acid reflux
Bloating due to gut sensitivity
Instead of adding more medicines temporarily, focus on:
Correcting the root cause (gut + stress axis)
Regulating digestion and acidity together
Preventing dependency on long-term PPIs
How homeopathy can help
With individualized treatment, we can:
Reduce dependency on antacids
Control bloating and reflux together
Improve digestion naturally
Stabilize gut sensitivity
Since your symptoms are chronic and recurring, a personalized evaluation will help avoid long-term medication dependence.

Yes, you can take Gaviscon along with your current medicines, but keep a gap of 1–2 hours between them.
Since your symptoms are still persisting, your case needs a more individualized approach. In homeopathy, GERD and bloating can be treated effectively by selecting the right medicine based on your symptoms and root cause.

Yes, you can take Gaviscon along with your current medications (PPI, Aristozyme, Avipattikar, and Carbo Veg 30), as there are no major direct interactions.
However, a few important points:
It’s better to keep a gap of at least 1–2 hours between Gaviscon and other medicines, especially your PPI and homeopathic medicine.
Frequent need for Gaviscon suggests that your acid reflux (Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease) is not fully controlled.
Long-term reliance on multiple medications may indicate the need to reassess the underlying cause (diet, lifestyle, digestion pattern, etc.).
Homoeopathy can help in managing such chronic issues by working on the root cause, reducing dependency on repeated antacids over time.
If symptoms persist or worsen, consider a detailed consultation for a more individualized approach.
Next Steps
