You have some stubborn germs hiding inside the nooks and crannies of your nose, known as Paranasal Sinuses. This type of infection is known as Rhino-Sinusitis. Whenever you have something cold, the germs begin to party and multiply rapidly causing all the symptoms in nose and throat!
Next Steps
You need to meet an ENT Specialist and get a CT scan of your nose and paranasal sinuses. This will guide your doctor to treat you appropriately.
