Hello doctor my sister name is sonu she has complaint of swelling of legs and small blood clots are formed in the leg near joints just below it back of leg if we touch the leg causes pain what is the diagnosis and what causes that and the leg is as like in photo

it cud be deep vein thrombosis. pain on touching calf muscle and leg swelling is feature. if c hv any sort of trauma, surgery done or c taking oral contraceptive pills further increase its probablity.

get a leg doppler done by radiologist. its type of colored ultrasound which tells about blood clots.also get a hemogram done along with PT /INR follow up with reports
