Hello Doctor, is Clonafit 0.5 mg have high potential of habit-forming? I feel shortness of breath at night due to fear and I have consulted with pulmonologist, cardiologist and they found I am normal.

Yes Clonafit containing clonazepam is habit forming if you take it for longer time. Do not take it more than prescribed and follow your doctors advice.

Since Cardiac and Pulmonary causes are ruled out, Sleep Apnoea could be your diagnosis (if everything else is ruled out) and I'm afraid clonazepam has little effect to solve your condition though it isn't that potent a habit forming drug.. PAP ( Positive Airway Pressure) is ur go to choice of treatment if the diagnosis is correct and drugs like Tryptomer 10-25mg at night will help you in dealing with it..
