Clarification on pregnancy
Hello doctor I am 18 weeks 5 days for today, yesterday I had a check up where doctor checked the baby heart beat, it was all good My quiery is before conceiving I was 65 kgs, in the first trimester I was gaining weight around 1 or 2 kgs every month But this time after 1 month I have reduced weight by 1 kg So I got little worried, any problem to me or my baby?? What I must do for my baby to be healthy and gain weight

It is not a rule that one should always keep on gaining weight during all visits. It may remain constant or even sometimes reduce by 1-2 kg. Total weight gain during whole pregnancy should be around 10-11 kg. In already overweight patients the weight gain should be lesser than that. You have not mentioned your height. If the fetus is growing well and the expected weight is well within normal limits, then there is no need to worry. Mother may or may not put on weight.
