Clarification on medication
I take one 10mg Pill Flotral (Alfuzosin hydrochloride) for Prostate enlargement. (I am 74 yr old male). I have have a tooth extracted. The dentist is not sure abt it and my family doctor is away at the moment. Is OK to have tooth extraction while taking this medication (Alfuzosin hydrochloride) ?

Yeah it's perfectly fine to go for tooth extraction. Alfuzosin has action mainly on prostate. The only medicines you need to avoid before any procedure are antiplatelets or anticoagulant like clopilet,ecosprin, warfarin. Just make sure you are not on any of these medications
