Chronic Schizophrenia 20 years
Hi,
Is there any cure for schizophrenia. My brother is taking medicine since from 20 years but no improvement. Current age is 36. Finally the doctor is using Clozapine and Soltus. He has become very weak and thin now..i think by this medication he is loosing energy to survive. I dont want to see him loosing life Infront of me like this already we lost father. But i don't want him loose the battle like this..he is just 36..please help me to find best ever doctor/hospital to trea

Schizophrenia is a long term disorder like Diabetes, Asthma, Hypertension etc..But just like these disorders, schizophrenia can also be well managed with appropriate medication and psychotherapy.. sometimes even with medications person can have few symptoms.
