Can acidity cause chronic red throat???..Had a chronic red throat from a year with acidity issues.Feeling of nausea late at night.Acidity after having tea and coffee, can't eat spicy oily food.dry mouth with bad taste in morning.did allergy test also, value was 150iu/ml.

Yes if you have gastro esophageal reflux symptoms, then it can cause sore throat. You should be in long term acid suppression medications and you need further evaluation
