It is Seasonal Haemoptysis.
It is due to flu like infection of lungs and bronchioles, that mostly occurs in winter season.
Other serious conditions like cancer/tuberculosis/ COPD causes cough with blood all the year around ( and not seasonal)...
So it is ruled out in this case.

3)Avoid smoking as it damages the lungs.
