You might be overthinking all these. I understand your sensitive nature makes you take things seriously, but when such kind of disturbance occurs. Try to think rationally, is everything people say occurs? Is it really because of they said it occurs or it occurs just by chance. You need to talk to somebody who can you help you to come out of this through counselling. You need to get rid of negative thinking. I know how we are surrounded by people in our society living with them forms our beliefs and disbeliefs. If you are terrified because of past beliefs where someone predicted something and it coincidentally happened, and now you fear the same for yourself, the best way to reassure is with logic, emotional support, and perspective. Here's how I’d approach it: Coincidence ≠ Cause-and-Effect: The fact that someone said something and it happened does not mean their words had power over reality. Many things people predict don’t come true, and sometimes coincidences just happen. It’s like saying, "I think it will rain tomorrow," and then it does—it doesn’t mean you controlled the weather. Self-Fulfilling Fear vs. Free Will: Fear itself can make you feel stuck, but your choices and actions shape your future. Just because someone said you’ll be single doesn’t mean it’s destined. You have the power to build relationships, meet new people, and experience love when the time is right. Superstitions Prey on Anxiety: Superstitions often take hold when we’re already anxious. The mind connects unrelated events and makes patterns that don’t really exist. Remind yourself that your life is not ruled by past words but by your actions, mindset, and relationships. Challenge the Fear with Evidence: If predictions always came true, every fortune teller would be a millionaire. Look back at all the times people said things that never happened. That will show you that words are just words unless we give them power. Empowerment Over Fear: Instead of dreading a future she fears, she can focus on what she wants. If you want love, you can put yourself in places where connection is possible. If you wants happiness, you can nurture relationships that fulfill you. A Reframe for Strength: You are already strong for questioning this fear. Instead of thinking, “What if it happens?”, You can ask, “What if I create a different reality?” You are not bound to the past—you are writing your own story. I’d also reassure you with warmth: "You are more powerful than words spoken in the past. You are creating your future every day, and it will be filled with the love and joy you allow yourself to receive." ❤️
Next Steps
If still this fear haunts you feel free to take therapy from any good therapist near you.

Hi It sounds like you’re carrying a really heavy burden—one that’s rooted in fear, superstition, and the power of words that others have spoken around you. When we hear emotionally charged or shocking statements—especially those with a hint of finality or fate—our brain sometimes holds onto them tightly, especially if they relate to things we deeply care about, like love, marriage, or safety. What’s happening to you is a common manifestation of anxiety, especially the kind known as magical thinking—where your mind starts linking unrelated events or believing that just thinking something can make it come true. It’s not your fault. This is your brain trying to find patterns to feel in control, even though it’s backfiring and creating fear instead. Let me be clear: Words don’t have the power to dictate your future. The people who said these things do not hold supernatural influence over your life. This anxiety is a result of intrusive thoughts—your brain tossing out scary “what ifs.” But here’s the good news: You can take control back. You can work through these thoughts with techniques from CBT like: • Cognitive restructuring to challenge “if someone says it, it will happen.” • Thought defusion techniques to see those thoughts as just thoughts—not truths. • Exposure therapy to reduce the fear response over time when these thoughts arise. You are not alone in this. Many people experience this type of thinking, and it can get better. Take therapy, and you can connect with me on nine two six six seven two six zero six five.
