Hi I am 24 unmaried female. I got ultrasound 2 months back because my periods were not stopping. USG showed 7 cm chocolate cyst. Doctor advised me for novelon for 3 month, take for 21 days wait for period and then take again. I have read that dinogest is better for this cyst. Should I switch to dinogest or are any better Medicine available for same Have been taking novelon for 2 months, no pain in periods

Both are hormonal medications which work well for endometriosis. Since you already started Novelon, continue for another month as prescribed. And you are still have any complaints, discuss with your obgyn and change the medication.

Yes...dienogest is better . As endometriosis is a progressive disease , dienogest may prevent progression and can reduce the size of the cyst . You can do ultrasound after 2 months of dienogest for reduction in size of the cyst .

At this size and your age, try for injectable GnRH agonists.
