Chocolate Cyst
After Ultrasound Abdomen and Pelvis scan, I came to know that I have Chocolate cyst of size 2.1 x 1.6 CM in right ovary and two similar cysts at left ovary measuring 2.2 x 2.6 CM & 1.8 x 2.0 CM. I am married 2 years back and not yet tried to get conceive as we were under family planning. Now I am ready to get Pregnant. But i found that cysts exists in ovaries. Will these cysts cause infertility? Is it really need to go for laparoscopy? or can I try to get conceive as is? If I get conceived, will theses cysts harm baby growth? Please advise.

Care AI Shimmer
If your menstrual cycle is regular my advice is don't go for the surgery and start the medical treatment after consulting the gynaecologist personally because when we do the surgery and remove the Cyst we have to remove the normal tissue also along the Cyst. And it will reduce your fertility because we are also removing healthy ovarian tissue along the Cyst. Secondly we perform the surgery we Can also injure urinary bladder and rectum because of adhesions. AFTER surgery also there are only 50% chances of getting Conceive in the two years after surgery. Either take the medical treatment or go for IVF.
Next Steps
Advice : CA 125 test.
