Can i eat 120 gms of chira or flattened rice it is called chira in west bengal i love to have it soaked in water with a little bit sugar and salt and lemon esoecially during summer so cN i have it everyday?

Hi,Chira is  easy to digest but it's glycemic index is high means it contains less fiber. So if you consume it daily it will put on your weight. You can have it once or twice in a week,and better if you have it in breakfast with vegetables like recipe 'poha' or 'chira pulao' .
