Child having 104 degree fever with heada
My son 4 year old is having 104 degree fever, his hands and feet are cold he also shivering. he is also having headache and stomach pain.i am giving sumo paracetamol tonic, 5 ml every 5 hrs.
fever is from past 10hrs.
what is the other precaution need to be taken. when should i call doctor.

Most fevers in children are viral in origin and take 3-7 days to subside completely.
If not accompanied by any other symptoms like vomiting or loose motions or coughing and breathlessness or dullness and refusal to feed,just give paracetamol for fever and repeat every 4 hours if required.
If above symptoms are present,consult your paediatrician asap.
