Chicken pox
I had symptoms of chicken pox before 8 days and i have consulted a doctor and took proper medicines. I have been in complete rest for the past 8 days. All i want to know is how many days i have to stay like this in order to prevent it spreading.!!

Until ALL the chickenpox pimples have burst and they have formed a scab (crust) until then you need to avoid contact with people who are not been previously infected and are at risk of catching the infection. Hope this is helpful.

Hi..chicken pox is contagious for almost 7 to 10 days from the time of onset or till the scab has formed over the lesions. So if all the lesions have dried up and you dont have fever, body pain, running nose or any symptoms you can resume your normal routine activities. You can consult the doctor who prescribed you medicines to get the medical fitness certificate.
