Chest X ray to diagnose Pneumonia
Physician suspects pneumonia or some other chest related disease. He prescribed me antibiotics from today and asked to get a chest Xray done.
My doubt is that if I start antibiotics from today but go for chest Xray day after tomorrow (Wednesday), can pneumonia still get detected ?

Yes it will
See antibiotics will prevent further damage but that which had already happened will tay time to resolve
.so it's ok if u start ur antibiotic today n get an x ray done day after tomorrow

Pneumonia takes atleast 1-2 weeks to resolve ,
And x rays changes can persist even more
