Chest pain
My brother, aged 14, has a consistent pain in his right chest side since last week and he says sometimes the pain is too hard to bear.We have consulted a Gen Physician but he was of no use, he just wrote some digestive medicines with some painkiller and some other medicine as well. What to do and where to consult, I mean a Gen Physician or a Cardiologist?! And he (brother) even says he feels pain when he inhales and even when he laughs.

Going by the description of pain given it’s very unlikely to be cardiac. However I suggest u to get an ecg and echo done to conclusively rule out cardiac cause. If it’s normal then the pain is musculoskeletal or due to anxiety and in either case it’s not serious and nothing to worry.
Next Steps
Ecg and echo
