Chest pain.
I've been suffering from slight pain in chest since 2 yrs. My ECG 2d echo, TMT were normal. The only thing I was told by cardiologist was that my Bp was high and also my pulse rate was high. I was asked to take met XL 12.5 for a month in 2019. I couldn't follow up properly with the doc and left the tab as I was admitted thrice for IBD, also I went into depression hence started taking antidepressants and sedatives. My BP is still very high so is my pulse rate. Should I take Met XL 12.5 ? Or is this due to the panic attacks and depression. I still start shivering, my heart beat raises quickly I start sweating shivering for a time being.

You require a thorough clinical review and decision accordingly. A combination of so-called anxiety and hypertension with palpitations in young age is always tempting to jump line and start suggesting investigations with out proper evaluation.

What is your blood pressure value? Looks unlikely to be heart related issue, based on your symptoms. All these symptoms can be attributed to depression and anxiety. But need more data to confirm that.
