I'm a student and don't have a lot of money . And I'm keeping the issues about my mental health a secret from parents. So my question is how can a student get cheap prescription and medicines for mental disorders , to be precise mainly for depression and a bit of insomnia . I have been prescribed medicine before but I have moved away to a metero city and it's soo much costly .

In case you are finding medicines expensive, do visit a govt set up near you with free consultation and medicine services. There is option of using generic medications which are cheaper.
You can always consult at government medical colleges in metro city where you can get free medication.
