I'm in college, and I usually live in (and around) Vellore, Tamil Nadu. Due to the pandemic i had to come home (Durgapur, West Bengal).
My acne used to be just a few individual pimples here and there. But now the acne covers a larger area, and isn't individual pimples. It's painful to touch and has only increased since March.
I have tried Benzoyl Peroxide ointment (prescribed much earlier for back acne), but to no avail. I have a healthy diet, don't drink, and smoke very rarely. I also make sure to get plenty of excercise each day. I have no other physical diagnosed syndromes (but mental health took a dip this year), had to be on Nexito(5mg) for a few months.
A picture of the condition is attached.

Acne can flare up due to various reasons.Certain hormonal/metabolic changes can induce these and unless they are investigated for and managed, acne flareups may keep happening.Creams may not be sufficient always. Please consult with a dermatologist for detailed discussion and prescription.
