1. All people (both male and female) aged 9 to 45 years can take hpv (cervical cancer) vaccine. HPV vaccine protects against genital warts and cervical cancer. 2. 9-14 years - 2 shots (0, 6-12 months) , 14-45 years - 3 shots( 0,1-2 months, 6 months) 3. No side effects 4. Currently it is available only in private hospitals and costs around Rs 3000-4000 per dose. Govt is planning to include HPV vaccine in national immunisation schedule for girls aged 9-14 years. 5. Private hospitals/ clinics- contact your nearest gynaecologist
