Hi,
I am 31 years old gym going fit individual 78 kgs 6 ft height, the only medication that I'm taking for long term is Finasteride finax 1mg since last 6 years. In January I felt heavy headed when getting up in the morning on some days. Also my libido was also down. So I got my full body checked. All the report were normal except Cholestrol. Ldl 200 and total cholestrol 275. I immediately consulted a cardiologist and now I'm on crestor 10 mgs since last 3 weeks. Also did a stress echo for my heart which came out fine.
Now in this week, i felt sometimes that when i get up after lying down for a while I felt immediate dizzines for few seconds. This happened in this week and quite a few time. Is this a side effect of crestor? Or something else. My libido is also down and i have no idea which doctor to consult. I consulted a cardiologist but my heart is working absolutely. Can any one recommend anything.

I don't know why you have been taking Finasteride for such a long time. It is known to cause loss of libido.
Crestor is the new medicine which has been introduced. It is known to cause stomach upset and related symptoms.
Please share the reason why you have been taking Finasteride so long.
