Cellutits in ankle...
Respected sir /madam, My father 58yrs old,..his Diabetes and bp patient.. Weight 100 kg at present Test report Hba1c -6.7,fasting-106, pp 140. ...but cellutits in ankle last 2.5 months completed at present situation is under a image attached please tell me at present time what condition..

It looks like resolving cellulitis and glycemic control is good.But the wound over the lateral malleolus has to be dealt with proper dressing and debridement.X ray of the ankle needs to be taken...Limb elevation and dressing till the wound heals completely will help in quick recovery...

Usually the swelling will take time even after infection is decreased. What is the colour Doppler report. Keep the leg in elevated position during sitting and sleeping. Can apply crepe bandage ,if there is no active infection.
