Cefixine with NAC 600mg is safe?
Hello doctor,
I am on a 10-day course of Cefixime 200 mg (twice daily) prescribed by my ENT for throat inflammation.
I also want to take N-acetylcysteine (NAC) 600 mg as a mucolytic and antioxidant.
Is it safe to take NAC along with Cefixime?
Should I leave a gap between the two? Any known interaction?
