Cbc covid fever
I just got done crp test for my daughter as she is having fever and malaise... her crp reports were as such that her crp level is 1.5.... so i want to know if there is any relation between high crp level and indication of coronavirus... since my husband just finished his mbbs studies has been saying that it does co relate... her crp level is normal , cbc is normal also sgpt is normal... but she has fever.... what could this be??

Hi. If cbc and CRP is normal, then we t could be viral infection. Wait for 2-3 days for the fever to settle

Hi.. CRP is normal as it is 1.5.. high CRP levers are frequently seen in covid syndrome.. you have not mentioned age and days of illness of your child.. continue paracetamol for fever and wait for 24-48 hours
