Hi, without actually looking at the tooth its difficult to give an exact treatment plan. However if the decay is not deep that is if it has no symptoms of sensitivity or pain u may delay the actual treatment and get the procedure done according to ur comfortable location. However if its deep enough it would probably require an extraction. Again extraction or a filling for the tooth depends on its clinical presentation, both are the available treatment procedures.
Next Steps
consult ur dentist again ask him if there's an immediate requirement of an extraction
Health Tips
the wisdom tooth area is usually hard to reach hence accumulates a lot of food debris. keep the area clean by gargling after every meal
