Catarrh and cough for a six months old
I have a six months old baby, he is having this persistant whooping cough for like 3 days now, and he also have catarrh for 1 week. what is the best medication i can render to him at this time.

Actually whooping cough is pertussis and it is a diagnosis made when we auscultate the chest. What signs you may look are fast breathing and chest indrawing while breathing.If child is feeding well and above signs of respiratory distress are not there no need to worry Start maxtra syrup 2.5 ml thrice a day and nasoclear drops one drop each nostril 4 times a day if nasal blockage present.

Is ur baby immunised till age? Please mention the weight so that medicines can be prescribed accordingly.
