Hi,
Today a small kitten has scratched my mom's leg but there is NO mark NO pain NO blood NO injury. Does she need to take TT injection?? please let me know.

If no any scretch, skin peeling yet wasy the part in running water with soap 7 -10 min

If it is minor scratch without bleeding and abrasion.
1. Wash the scratched area thoroughly with soap and running water for at least 15 minutes.
2. Apply povidone-iodine or chlorhexidine antiseptic.
Anti rabies vaccine should be administered if cat’s vaccination statusis unknown.
Td/tdap should be administered if not taken in last 5 years
