Hello I was bitten by my cat when taking her to the vet on Tuesday when she got scared of the vet. It broke my skin a bit but it wasn't very deep so I ignored the vet when she told me that I needed to go to my doctor. On Friday - 5 days later - I developed cold/flu. There is no infection at the wound site from 1 week ago now so I assumed it was not related. I had a ten year tetanus vaccine 5 years and three months ago. Do I need to get a vaccine now or is it too late one week on?
