Carpel tunnel syndrome is a symptom likely secondary to a water retaining state like Pregnancy, Hypothyroidism & also cases of rheumatoid arthritis etc. Since she is expecting we would only give her vitamin b complex supplements as a neurotonic. U can get help by using electrotherapy modality like TENS which is relatively safe in pregnancy. Night splints may also be of help. She will get better soon after pregnancy. All the best
