Cannot find prescribed medicine anywhere
Hello, so I got prescribed methlyphenidate SR 10mg by my doctor but I couldn't find it anywhere in any pharmacy in banglore. Anyone else that got prescribed methlyphenidate in Bangalore and got it if yes where ?

I am surprised you didn't get the medication in Bangalore. Ask for alternative brands. Shops around nimhans would be your best bet.

Methylphenidate is a schedule X drug and needs in person consultation with a psychiatrist and 2 copies of prescription clearly mentioning the diagnosis, details of the doctor, address and registration number should be mentioned. Only few pharmacies in any city have license. For example in Chennai where I practise, about 5 pharmacies sell them. Kindly ask your doctor where to buy?
