Can take vaccine if Sugar level 300

Asked for Female, 30 Years

My mother age is 63 , she is diabetic and BP patient. Her sugar level is increasing from a week, ( Fasting is 200 and after meal sometimes 250 or 300) She has to take 2nd dose of vaccine tomorrow, can she take her vaccine after taking her medicines for diabetes? Kindly advise doctor.

Would advise to bring sugars less than 200 before taking vaccine, as vaccine has shown to increase sugars in a proportion of patients. Her medications for diabetes may need to be adjusted
