Can medication be taken
My mom aged 57 is taking osteofos 70 from past 2 months and in April 10 she had taken first dose of Covishield .she suffers from arthritis as pain in right knee and sometimes a lump behind knee.is it safe to take this tablet osteofos 70 after taking vaccine.are there any precautions to be taken .what is small lump behind her knee .is it fluid filled or how.

Carry out any treatment as usual. Covishield 2nd dose can be taken after 16 wks. Of ist dose.

Currently there is no such convincing evidence of interaction between osteofos and COVID vaccination. It is advisable not to stop osteoporosis treatment for COVID vaccination. Lump seems to be Baker’s cyst. A fluid filled cavity. But can be commented only after examining

Needs to be assessed why she is taking osteophos. It's not for arthritis. Lump can be fluid filled, need to see clinically. Although no relation with vaccine and tablet.
