Can i stop my cholestrol medicine
Last 3 years i am taking Rozavel 5mg , based on the advice of my doctor. and every 6 months i used to take lipid profile test and monitor the readings. Recently from last 6 months , i am on strict diet and reduced around 10 kg , and i took the readings. Total chol: 100,,LDL,65,TGL,76. So i stopped the medicne and continue the same diet and tokk the test after 1 month. Total Chol:208,TGL:86,LDL:151. 1:Should i continue to take medicine..? 2:IS there any way i can stop the medicine..?

Taking cholesterol medicine depends upon many factors like if you have any other diseases like hypertension, heart problem, diabetes,etc,.If any one of your family member suffers from above problems, your working style and weight. So my advice just don't go on values of cholesterol. Take appropriate consultation from your doctor. Don't stop or start medicines by self.
