It is a PROLONGED direct contact. The key word is PROLONGED. Casual contact or shaking hands or hugging doesn't spread skin TB.

Unless in direct skin to skin contact, extra pulmonary tuberculosis does not spread easily to unbroken skin. Your lungs nust not be havinga tuberculous lesion simultaneously which may spread it in case sputum is AFB Positive. As you are already under treatment it is less likely. Still to be on safer side cover your body parts properly, change them daily and getting them washed separately from others' clothes and keeping safe distance from family members avoiding shake hands or holding kids in your lap.
