Can i gain weight
I'm a girl of height 182 cm. And my weight is 51 kg. My BMI is 16.I'm very skinny..and also I'm a marfan symdrome patient also having hypothyroidism... Can i gain weight???

Hi dear, I can very well understand your problem because Marfan Syndrome causes major problems in every day life. But yes you can minimise the discomfort and lead a normal life by doing little diet modifications. . Eat small frequent meals . Protein rich diet specially plan protein . Eggs should be in your everyday meal . Calcium rich food . Eat slowly as u may have shortness of breath . Desserts u should have in plenty as it wl add up in your calories and give satiation. follow 5-6 small and frequent means with plenty of liquids and fruit juices, include good amount of protein in your diet with sufficient calorie dense food with some jeera ajwain water to increase appetite as well. include multigrain cereals in your diet like use chana flour+ raagi flour +wheat flour instead of simple wheat roti. add green leafy vegetables at least 4 times in a week.

For gaining weight,  you can consider these suggestions : 1. Maintain meal gaps: take small and frequent meals every 2-3 hours. 2. Walk after every meal for 15-20 minutes, it will boost up your metabolism and you will be able to consume sufficient food. 3. Include dates and figs in your diet. 4. Make rotis out of (50% wheat+ 50% besan) 5. Drink 2-3 litres of water everyday.
