Hi, at the age of 17 i got typhoid which led to
thyroid. Initially they said it is hyperthyroid but i was put on thyroxine medication. But I'm skinny from the beginning. Now My orthopedist says that thyroxine is used to treat hypothyroidism and due to that i got this bone deformities. So my query is can a patient of hypothyroidism be skinny or else only hyperthyroidism patients would be skinny. I had all the symptoms of hypothyroidism like weakness, constipation and all by the way.
