Can Hiv detect after 5-8 yrs of UP sex
Hello sirs/madams can a person be hiv positive after having unprotected anal sex with males brothers after 5-8 yrs? Sex had at diff months but only two times in life they wre also clean but will it cause hiv in future? Had sex on 2014-15 cbc and platelets are normal in 2022 but some inflamed skin on penis opening hole and white glans but antifungal soap treating skin. will it cause hiv or it may hiv after 5-8 yrs of hving unprotected sex? Blood counts are normal and weight was same last 5-8 yrs but had gastric problems. Didn't tested for hiv or sti till now Please answer it's stressing much

HIV can surface years after having exposure. However, it is advisable to get a simple HIV 1&2 tested at any nearby pathology lab. It is reliable screening test and will relieve of your stress. Pls do remember to take adequate precautions in future.
