Hi, We did root canal of my wife's tooth, but I'm worried about infection due to equipment used for root canal. Is there any possibility of such infection?

If the instruments were not sterilised properly, then infection is possible.

Ideally all instruments are supposed to be autoclaved before use. If it is not sterilised or autoclaved it may give rise to infections though to be honest chances are less . Next time make sure you go to a good clinic which follow all sterilisation and autoclaving protocols.

Hi ,Cross contimination is possible from the instruments used. But when the root canal was done ? So many other factors plays the role . If root canal was done very recently within 5 days , wait for 5 days.if done before , then show to a endodontist clinic with good sterilization protocol
Next Steps
if done recently wait or else show to a endodontist clinic with good sterilization protocol
