I have been suffering from pain in my calf muscles(lower portion of legs) and it increases in nights.
It is disturbing while sleeping also.
Some people say that its due to deficiency of vitamin D.
Any suggestions about what is the cause and what can be done to overcome this problem?

Yes...muscle cramps can be due to Vitamin D deficiency aur less intake of water.
