Hi doc..sir can I take calcium tablet in high bp? Because I am diagnosed vit. B12 and vit. D deficiency.

Calcium supplementation will definitely be helpful since your vitamin C is less and calcium is a an essential mineral for the welfare of the heart muscles and therefore a 1000mg/ day would definitely be helpful along with vitamin D supplementation of 60,000IU ( ex D Rise tablets) one tablet for a period of 8 weeks will be helpful.

Yes , calcium is safe in hypertension Best form : calcium carbonate or calcium citrate with vitamin D3 Vitamin D must be corrected first or along with calcium Safe dosage Vitamin D3 : 60,000 IU once weekly for 6-8 weeks Calcium: 500 mg once daily after meals Vitamin B12: 1500-2000 mcg methyl cobalamin daily
