Should burp baby for atleast 20 min Should be conscious in night feeding because chances of aspiration are more during night feeding because of not burping properly

After you have completed breast feeding, you can hold your baby vertically,  in such a way that face is resting on the shoulder and pat him/her gently for about 15 mins. As long as he/she isn't bringing out too much milk (little is fine) from his/her mouth or vomiting, it is ok if you don't hear the burp.
