It is in all probability GERD only. Try taking T. Pan D twice daily before meals for 10 days. You have to ananlyse yourself what foods cause you the symptoms and avoid them. Avoid spicy food in your diet and prolonged fasting. You can opt for consultation if you have any other queries or for detailed discussion.

The top portion of stomach slides in to the chest through the diagram, leads to recurrent heart burns. Can be managed effectively by medicines and lifestyle changes but only surgery is curative.

Your symptoms are due to hiatus hernia, which is a mechanical problem. Symptoms can be controlled with meds, but condition can be cured totally by surgery. Surgery is done in severe and or persistent cases. Take small frequent meals,  avoid fatty, spicy foods, caffeinated products,  elevate head while sleeping. Take tab pantaprazole 40mg one  daily before breakfast for 3 to 4 weeks. Tab zinetac 150mg morning and one evening for 2 weeks. Syp mucaine gel 5m.l 3 times daily for 2 weeks. When you feel burning sensation,  you can take sips of cold milk in small quantity.
